I wanted just a little new pop. Ta-da!
By and large, a better design… You don’t have the dark background overwhelming the central characters… especially in the face area. the intimacy of what is happening between the two figures is paramount to a “romance” novel and the new cover pops it up much better than the old one. With the old one, you had all that strong color and pattern fighting with the characters in the foreground rather than accenting them. Not sure the new white copy at the top helps, though… is it important to the storyline?
